Administrative Assistant – Heather Day was born and raised in North Missouri.  She has a husband, Dustin, and a daughter, Danica.  Heather spent 12 years in Los Angeles working as an administrative assistant at The Walt Disney Company.  She is thrilled to be back in a small town surrounded by family and friends.

In 2013, Pastor Eric Anderson celebrated his 25th year serving Christ as a United Methodist Pastor.   Growing up with four brothers, he spent years in California, Oklahoma, Montana, and Texas, and nine months in New Jersey where he flunked kindergarten.   In college, he was part of the Fighin’ Texas Aggie Band and played Lacrosse for University of Missouri.   He received his Master of Divinity from Iliff School of Theology in Denver Colorado.  Pastor Eric has served churches in rural Nebraska, small town Missouri, and as campus minister at Truman State University; however, Palmyra has been his favorite location.    He and his wife, Jo Ann, have two children:  Elizabeth teaches high school in Kirksville, and Mark  works as a personal trainer in Columbia.  Pastor Eric likes exploring and trying new things, riding his motorcycle, playing guitar, being in the water, high school home football games, going to plays, and catching the next Bond or Star Trek movie (but not on opening night).   He has a passion for connecting people for Christ and enjoys teaching and making the Bible real, relational, and relevant.

Hospitality and Connections/Worship Leader-Chris’s hometown is Maywood, MO and he graduated at Highland in 1993.  He has a wife Tracy who teaches 9th Grade Composition at PHS.  They have a Senior son Tristan and 8th grade daughter Sydney.  They were married in 1995 and were stationed together in Hawaii.  Chris graduated in 2000 from Western Illinois University with a bachelors in psychology.  He received his commission from the US Army as a 2LT at that time and he and Tracy went back to the 25th ID in Hawaii.  Chris spent time as a Quartermaster CPT in Iraq before leaving the service to come back to live in Palmyra.  Chris has a passion for helping people reach their full potential.  He is also very excited about getting resources in place for more people to experience growth and have a chance to serve Christ both in our community and abroad.
